An Amsterdam man is facing rape charges near the Schoharie Boat Launch, according to the Montgomery County Sheriffâ€™s Office.
Justin Milonovich, 46, of Amsterdam was arrested on Tuesday, July 22 and charged with Rape (3rd Degree). Authorities say that the Sheriffâ€™s Office received a complaint on July 13 from the girl victim who said that on Friday, July 11, Milonovich allegedly had sexual intercourse without her consent in a wooded area at the Schoharie Boat Launch located at 195 Hartley Lane in the Town of Glen. The victim was treated at St. Maryâ€™s Hospital, investigators said.
Milonovich was arraigned at the Town of Glen Court by Justice James Law and sent to the Montgomery County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash or $20,000 Bond. The investigation was conducted by Inv. Theresa Pingitore with the assistance from the Amsterdam Police Department, Sexual Assault Support ServicesÂ and the Montgomery County District Attorneyâ€™s Office.
