Two men are facing burglary charges for over 50 crimes over the past several months, police said.
Brent Haseltine, 27, of Queensbury and Ryan Brown, 27, of Glens Falls are each charged with Burglary (2nd Degree) and petty larceny. Haseltine was arrested Oct. 30 and Brown was picked up Monday (Nov. 18), police said.
In separate interviews, Haseltine and Brown told police they and committed several burglaries and at least 50 larcenies from vehicles in Glens Falls and in Queensbury since June 2013. Both men suspects said they got into unlocked cars and trucks and stole change along with cameras, Ipods and GPS devices, investigators said.
Additional charges may be filed by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office and the Glens Falls Police. Haseltine was arraigned Oct. 30 in the Town of Queensbury Court and held in the Warren County Jail for lack of $25,000 cash or $50,000 bond. Brown was arraigned today (Nov. 19) in the Town of Queensbury Court and sent to the Warren County Jail for lack of $25,000 cash or $50,000 bond.
