Halfmoon council members call for town supervisor's immediate resignation

Halfmoon's Town Board is calling for Halfmoon Town Supervisor Mindy Wormuth to resign immediately.

That's following word she's under investigation for possible conflicts of interest. F.B.I agents are probing busineeses dealings Wormuth has had with developers who've had projects approved by the board. They're now demanding that she do what's in the best interests of the town, in their view.

Wormuth has retained noted local defense attorney E. Stewart Jones. She earlier this year sought not to seek re-election after another Republican was endorsed.
